At Amuri Truffles, our mission is to produce the best quality Périgord Black truffles available outside of their native France. We can achieve this due to the unique characteristics of the area where they grow, and our careful management of the site.
We have over 20 years' experience of learning about truffles, harvesting them and supplying them to some of New Zealand’s top restaurants and lodges, and directly to the public.
Tuber melanosporum (Perigold Black truffle) is native to Southern Europe and known to be one of the most indulgent and luxury ingredients in French winter cuisine. With a virtually indescribable scent, it changes the essence of all foods it is paired with creating irresistible flavour profiles.
